This piece of old and weathered White Oak has been waiting five years in dry storage to be sculpted into a cool piece of furniture. One day it was removed from the rack, cleaned and refinished only to be put back on the shelf to wait some more.....s

One day it was removed from the rack, cleaned and refinished only to be put back on the shelf to wait some more.....some ideas take time to brew. Well this set of timber block side tables will soon be leaving here and on their way to Sun Peaks. They are of a limited edition we call Baltic Amber and in their past life were support beams spanning the rock deep inside the massive hydro generation

They are of a limited edition we call Baltic Amber and in their past life were support beams spanning the rock deep inside the massive hydro generation plant of Mica Dam near Revelstoke BC. Sorted through a pile of old timbers on the weekend and these ones made the cut for a few new projects. Now the real fun begins as we craft a reclaimed fir floor and a feature post and beam package. #reclaimeddouglasfir
